Indigo products

Resistprint indigo fabrics are special because they are difficult and time consuming to make. Textiles made using this technique and the workshops that originally produced them are inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. In Europe there are very few workshops where indigo fabrics are made. All indigo products are printed by hand and painted using handicraft printing blocks. Some of the used patterns originate from 19th century Kolkja village's Prostatov workshop.
